Aline Kaplan’s short story, “Elf Hill,” which was reviewed earlier by SpaceCrafts members, will be published this year. Aline heard yesterday that “Elf Hill” has been accepted in an anthology of short stories entitled, Magical: An Anthology of Fantasy, Fairy Tales, and Other Magical Fiction for Adults.
She was notified of her story’s acceptance by the anthology’s editor, Kelly Ann Jacobson, author of Cairo in White and the Zaniyah Trilogy.
In putting together the anthology, the editors were looking for “pieces of exceptional magical fiction written in a literary style that are as entertaining and spellbinding as stories for children but are written at an adult level.”
